Off We Go- Chug Chug Choo Choo!
Our Sarah has decided to get on the potty train and work on her potty training skills this week. Well, so far no real success stories to report. She received some training pants from Grandma. She proudly wears her big girl pants only after she has a messy diaper. Last night, she had her first accident in her big girl pants and never recovered from the shock so we put her to bed early. To be honest, I can't remember how to do this. It has been seven years since I went through this with Anna. Any advice? I will have to go through this again with Joshua! Help!

Our best success involved not switching back and forth between diapers and panties during the day. Also, we took the little potty with us in the van wherever we went for a while. That way, it was right there and we didn't have to brave sitting on any big scary potties in the public restroom. Too many changes at once stressed the girls out.

Thanks Krav Mom for your input! It is coming along slowly. I am stepping back a step right now. It is a bit stressful to monitor her and take care of the little one at the same time. I will work on it more during our two week break when I have some reinforcements to help me.
